Minor triad with Dorian scale

It’s pretty much the same as the natural minor scale, or the aeolian scale, except the raised 6th.

2nd inversion minor triad and Dorian scale

I like this shape because it is the extended of the minor pentatonic shape. See this for more detail about the minor pentatonic

Major triads with Mixolydian scale

Mixolydian is similar to Ionian or major scale, except the major 7th becomes minor 7th.

Major triads with Lydian scale

Root position major triad and Lydian scale

The root position is quite tricky with 2 whole steps. So I prefer playing this shape shifted to the right as below

1st inversion major triad and Lydian scale

This shapes can be linked to add more octaves

1st inversion major triad and multiple octaves of Lydian scale
2nd inversion major triad and Lydian scale
